[CMUBDC] Information/Events Regarding the Upcoming Spring Semester

[CMU Ballroom Dance Club]

Hello Ballroom friends,

I hope you all are having a wonderful break and holiday season.

Unfortunately, classes start this Monday, but that also means that we will
be having our ballroom dance events and lessons again this semester! Please
see below for information regarding the upcoming* Rush Events*, and*
Auditions*.

For* Rush*, as usual, it is completely free and open to everybody, so
please bring your friends! Also, don't hesitate to come and help out with
*Rush*. We would love to see you all there!


Upcoming Events and Announcements

*1nd Week of Ballroom Rush*

*Ballroom Rush* also happens on the second week of classes! Same as the
first week, no experience or partner is needed and its completely *free*
and open to everybody, so please come and join us for some wonderful
showcases, lessons, and FREE FOOD! We will explain how to join our club,
and talk a bit more about our competition team. All event will be taking
place the *Rangos Auditorium of the Conan University Center*.

Monday 1/13 @7:00PM - 9:30PM

Wednesday 1/15 @7:00PM - 9:30PM


*1st Week of Intermediate and Advanced Lessons*

Like previous semester we will be having lessons the first week of classes
before lessons. Please attend the class for the level you were last
semester. This is a great time to catch up with Christine and Rosana, ask
any last minute questions you may have about auditions, and dance! The
times for the lessons are as followed:

5:30PM Gold (UC - Rangos)

6:00PM Intermediate 2/3 (UC - Rangos)

6:30PM Intermediate 1 & Fall '19 Newcomer (UC - Rangos)


*2nd Week of Ballroom Rush*

*Ballroom Rush* also happens on the second week of classes! Same as the

*Auditions*

*If you are a beginner dancer, you can ignore this.* Anyways, auditions
will be held Tuesday, 1/21 for Standard and Wednesday, 1/22 for Latin. You
must audition if you want to take intermediate+ professional lessons and
have not already placed into the Gold professional lesson. Please email
cmuballroom at gmail.com for any difficulties with these times.

*Adam's Professional Salsa and Bachata Lessons*

Adam's classes will start 1/27 at 9:30PM. For pricing and more information,
please see our website: cmubdc.org* Please note that we have switched the
days Salsa and Bachata are being taught on.* Mondays for Salsa, and
Wednesdays for Bachara.
