[CMU Ballroom Dance Club]

Dear CMU Ballroom,

Tomorrow, Friday January 1, at 10:00PM Eastern Time, we are going to have a
New Year's Party on gather.town! Details below, read carefully
If you are a newer dancer, we have a quick dance lesson before to refresh
salsa basics. Everyone, PLEASE see schedule.

Dress code: nice attire recommended :)

9:30pm - 10:00pm: Intro to some salsa dance basics (for newer dancers) *ON
ZOOM*
10:00pm - 10:30pm: Intro to remote partner dancing (for ALL attendees! You
won't wanna miss this) *ON ZOOM*
10:30pm - Midnight: The virtual ball! *ON GATHER TOWN*, with DJ'ed music
for social dancing *ON ZOOM*

I have attached screenshots of what our *virtual ballroom* looks like. You
can also see it for yourself at the link above. Gather town is like Zoom,
but with a spatial component: you only see the cameras of the people in
your vicinity in the virtual world!
