[CMUBDC] Ballroom Rush! - 9/2

[CMU Ballroom Dance Club]

Hello Ballroom friends,

Welcome to the second week of *Rush*! This is the last week of *Ballroom
Rush*, so please join us!

*Rush* will be happening *today*, Monday, and *tomorrow*, Tuesday. No
experience or partner is needed and its completely *free* and open to
everybody, so please come and join us for some wonderful showcases,
lessons, and FREE FOOD! We will explain how to join our club, and talk a
bit more about our competition team. All event will be taking place the *Rangos
Auditorium of the Conan University Center*.

Monday 9/2 @7:00PM - 9:30PM : Rumba & Hustle

Tuesday 9/3 @7:00PM - 9:30PM : American Foxtrot & Salsa


If you are a beginner dancer, ignore the following paragraph: *Auditions
are this week!* The start at 5:30 PM in Rangos. Please be on time.

*Pricing:*

Rush is* FREE.*

*Beginner dancers*: We recommend you attend both the professionally taught
newcomer lessons and the student taught beginner lessons. This membership
only costs a *flat $35 for students*, covering the entire semester!

Upcoming Events and Announcements


*Competition Team Meet & Greet*

September 7, 2019 @ 12:00PM - 2:00PM in UC - Danforth Lounge

Please come and meet the members of the competition team, and learn more
about the comp team! Molly, our team captain, will be answer any and all
questions regarding competitions, partners, and costumes.

*Lessons start next week!*

Please sign up beforehand here: cmubdc.org/join

We wil be taking payments before the first lesson on 9/9, so please arrive
a bit early that day. We accept cash, check, and card (but with a $3
convinience fee for card).


*Auditions*

*If you are a beginner dancer, you can ignore this.* Anyways, auditions
will be held *Monday, 9/2 for Standard* and *Tuesday, 9/3 for Latin*. They
start at *5:30 PM*. You must audition if you want to take intermediate+
professional lessons and have not already placed into the Gold professional
lesson. Please email cmuballroom at gmail.com for any difficulties with these
times.

*Adam's Professional Salsa and Bachata Lessons*

Adam's classes will start 9/9 at 9:30PM. For pricing and more information,
