Hope you enjoyed the first week of lessons last week! This weekend, we have
a *professional standard workshop*,  taught by *Maja Servé *(finalist at
major world championships with partner Glenn Weiss, and Christine's former

*If you are joining us for the first time or new to dancing, the Newcomer
and Beginner Lessons are both perfect for you!
*Salsa/Bachata are also great options for new members!
All classes are open to both students and non-students.

2. Pay your membership fee & get your membership card at the door during
lessons (starting the week of Jan 28th).
*Pricing: *

For students, newcomer+beginner lessons cost a flat $35 for the entire
semester.
For non-students, newcomer+beginner lessons cost a flat $55 for the entire
semester.

Cash or check at the door.
We accept credit cards!! *(*there will be a small processing fee of $3 for
those that wish to pay this way)*


*Competition Team*

Are you interested in practicing your dance skills?  How about hanging out
with friends on weekend road trips to neighboring cities for competitions?
Our competition team might be right for you!! We practice from 12:30-3:30
PM on Saturdays and Sundays in the UC Activities Room.  We also have fun
social events like apple picking and board game parties. All experience
levels are welcome, especially beginners (no experience necessary).  Email

S*tandard Workshop with **Maja Servé** (Feb 10, @8:00AM -  7:30PM, UC
Rangos 1/2/3)*

Maja Servé, World and Blackpool Professional Standard Finalist and USA
Dance National trainer, will be coaching CMU ballroom Feb10th. Private,
semi-private and group lessons are available. The workshop will be *Sunday,
February 10th, 2019* and will take place in *CUC Rangos 1/2/3* at Carnegie
Mellon University. Contact Kye Stapleton-Gray
(kstaplet at andrew.cmu.edu) with any
questions/comments/concerns.

*Bulk Shoe Order*

Every semester we present the opportunity to order shoes together in bulk
for the cost.  This provides a relatively economical option.  For your
shoes to be ordered, you should fill out this form

and bring money to Ying Chen (at club lessons or practice) *by Sunday, Feb.
10*.  The shoes will take approximately one month to arrive.  You're not
restricted to order the shoes that are recommended so feel free to browse
the website and let Ying know if you have any questions.
