[CMUBDC] [CMU BDC] Ballroom Lessons - Week of 4/22

[CMU Ballroom Dance Club]

Hello Ballroom friends,

I hope you enjoyed our social last Saturday. It was great to see you
dancing and having fun!

We have a special teaching switch *this week only* for the upper level
classes. Christine will be teaching Latin on Monday, and Rosana will be
teaching Standard on Wednesday. Please note that Rosana has requested a*
special dress code *for Wednesday. Leads: please wear a button down, dress
pants, and a tie. Follows: please wear a skirt of dress of some kind.*
Newcomer lessons starting at 7:30 PM will NOT be affected.*

Also, on *Wednesday April 24*, instead of our usual student-taught Latin
lessons and Adam's salsa lessons, we will be having the Spring Showcase and
the Salsa Rueda! The locations will be the same as our usual lessons, so
please come watch out club members perform their own choreographed
showcases. The Salsa Rueda will be a *open social* that is *free* for all
to join in with or without any salsa experience.

Upcoming Events and Announcements

*S**pring Showcase (Wednesday, April 24, 2019 @ 8PM, UC - Rangos 1/2/3)*

Come join us for the end of the year showcase where we will have lots of
our amazing dancers showing off their skills, whether it be in ballroom or
in other styles of dance! We've got Matias Jonsson as our MC and DJ for the
night, so come and support all of these amazing dancers as they show us
what they've got!

*Salsa Rueda (Wednesday, April 24, 2019, @ 9:30PM UC - Rangos 1/2/3)*

Adam, out salsa teacher will be hosting a Salsa Rueda during the usual
salsa dance class time. It will be a social that is *free for all* to join
in, so please bring your friends for some salsa fun!


*End of the Year Barbeque (Saturday, May 4, @ 6PM 624 Clyde St)*

Thank you to Jay Liu and Rachel Keeler for hosting and organizing a
end-of-the-year barbeque to celebrate all the dancing we have done over the
last two semesters. Please join us for some delicious food and hang out
with all of our club members. We would love to see you there!
