Hello Ballroom Friends!

Hope everyone enjoyed the rush! Starting this week, we will start our
weekly lessons/ practices. This email has *important information* including how
to join the club/pay your fees, a general overview of the lessons, etc.  In
addition, we will also be running our *weekly rounds* right after the
intermediate 1 lessons this year.
Whether you are a previous member or a newcomer, we can't wait for you to
join the journey and become part of our club!

*If you are joining us for the first time or new to dancing, the Newcomer
and Beginner Lessons are both perfect for you!
*Salsa/Bachata are also great options for new members!
All classes are open to both students and non-students.

*How to join?*

1. Fill out this website join form <http://www.cmubdc.org/join/>

2. Pay your membership fee & get your membership card at the door.
*Payment methods:*


   - Cash or check at the door.
   - We now accept credit cards!! *(*there will be a small processing fee
   of $3 for those that wish to pay this way)*

*Pricing*

For students, newcomer+beginner lessons cost a flat $35 for the entire
semester.
For non-students and other advanced/social dance classes, check our website

*Competition Team*

Are you interested in practicing your dance skills?  How about hanging out
with friends on weekend road trips to neighboring cities for competitions?
Our competition team might be right for you!! We practice from 12:30-3:30
PM on Saturdays and Sundays in the UC Activities Room.  We also have fun
social events like apple picking and board game parties. All experience
levels are welcome, especially beginners (no experience necessary).  Email

*Newcomer Boot Camp (Sep 15, Sep 16 @ 12:30 PM - 3:30PM. UC Activities
Room)*

New members, this one is for you!! You’ll learn more about the dances you
saw/learned at rush, as well as some new dances! Don’t worry if you missed
a few days of rush, we’ll get you caught up! On Saturday we’ll focus on
standard dances, and on Sunday we’ll do the Latin dances.
