*Mock Comp (Sunday, October 21st)*
Mock comp registration is still open! It is a really awesome event we hold
every year to simulate a competition. You’ll get to practice walking on and
off the floor, dancing for “judges”, checking callback sheets, doing
competition hair/makeup/attire, and cheering on your friends! I encourage
everyone to sign up! Link here

*Paint the Fence (Thursday, the night of October 18th, stay tuned for more
information on Facebook)*
*Save the Date!* On the night of Thursday October 18th, ballroom will be
taking the fence and painting it in honor of *mock comp*. We’re going to
have a blast painting , guarding the fence, and eating food — in past years
the fence was also a meeting spot for folks to chill between classes!
** *More details are coming soon. **Make sure to sign up for guard shifts
and click going on the Facebook event whenever the event goes up later this
week!*
*Professional lessons expectations*
Come to class on time. Be active and ask questions. Listen to the
instructors first before helping people around you, don’t disrupt other
people’s learning.

Ladies: A skirt, appropriate dance shoes
*Non-competitors and newcomers:*
