[CMUBDC] Ballroom Dance Club - Week of 5/7

[CMU Ballroom Dance Club]

Hello ballroom friends,

It is my pleasure to announce that CMU Ballroom Dance Club has ended the
year strong by winning the *Outstanding Student Organization Award*!

This year we had over 300 club members, roughly a third of which are also
competition team members. We taught a variety of dances from standard to
latin to social dances, and organized many events besides competition
trips, such as bi-monthly socials, new members meet and greet, etc. This
award recognized our commitment to club's mission of building a community
of dancers, membership recruitment and retention, as well as our impactful
and well-executed program. So congratulations again to everyone for being a
part of this outstanding organization!

Starting next week, we will be using summer mailing list to provide
information about weekly space & lessons details. So if you are in
Pittsburgh, and haven't already signed up, please indicate your interest in

Dates: May 14th- August 8th
When: Mondays Wednesdays 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM (first lesson 7:00-7:45, second
lesson 7:45-8:30)
Where: CMU Student Center (specific location will be announced in summer
weekly email)
Lessons offered: Beginner-level lessons
Registration & Payment: $30 flat rate, due at the first week of summer
classes.

**** There will also be time& space available for open-floor practice
during summer.*
