[CMUBDC] Ballroom Rush/Practice Space/Auditions

Hello Ballroom friends!

Summer is winding down...but Ballroom season is starting! Hope y'all had a
wonderful break, and read on for some exciting updates for the new semester.

*BALLROOM RUSH*

*DATE: *8/29, 8/31, 9/5, 9/7
*TIME: *7:00 –– 9:30pm
*LOCATION: *UC Rangos

For those of you who didn't get a chance to come out to ballroom rush in
the past semesters, it was a great chance to take FREE introductory
lessons, have FREE food and meet LOTS of people in one night.

For those who had the rush experience before, you know how fun it was and
it's time to come back and show off your moves like a boss. ;) See below
for the lessons schedule for this year:

Monday 8/29: Merengue and Rumba
Wednesday 8/31: Waltz and Tango
Monday 9/5: Foxtrot and Hustle
Wednesday 9/7: Swing/Jive and Salsa

*PRACTICE TIMES*
If you would like to freshen up the moves you learned in the previous
semesters (besides attending rush), please see below for the the available
practice space and times:

Mon 8/29 Rangos 1/2/3 @ 5:00-11:59

Wed 8/31 Rangos 1/2 @ 5:00-11:59

Mon 9/5 Rangos 1/2/3 @ 5:00-11:59

Wed 9/7 Rangos 2/3 @ 7:00-11:59


*AUDITIONS*
Want to one up your dance moves after taking introductory and beginner
lessons? Here's your chance to take lessons with our professional
instructors!

Auditions will be run in a rounds format. Each couple/individual will
receive a number and that is how you will be identified. This includes
people auditioning for Gold. For the three levels of intermediate, the
instructor will divide up the groups into thirds and each third will become
a level.

*Auditions will be held 8/31 for Latin and 9/5 for Standard in Rangos.*
Please stay in your levels from last semester before audition results come
out. Fill out this form
