[CMUBDC] Dance Shoe Sale!!

Dear dancers,

First of all, quick reminder that there are NO LESSONS TONIGHT!

As most of you already know/are quickly finding out, ballroom is pretty
hard without proper footwear. To make your dance lives a bit easier, below
are two options for you to buy affordable dance shoes!

1) We have VEdance coming in to sell dance shoes and clothing on Saturday,
Sept 21, during Glenn Weiss Workshops (11am till 6pm in Rangos). Their
shoes are pricey ($70+), but of really good quality, and are definitely
worth the investment. You also get to try them on to make sure they fit
well, which is extremely important for dance shoes. And you get to start
dancing in them right away! You can check out some of their products at

2) If you are not ready to spend that much money yet, we will also be
placing an order with a vendor in China. These shoes will be $30 for the
ladies on designs with no faux diamonds (ie, number 1368), $40 for ladies
WITH faux diamonds (ie, number 1446) , and $35 for men. Check out the shoes

* If this is your first air of dance shoes, look at the instruction on top
of the form. These shoes generally arrive about a month later, and we will
distribute them at club lessons.

If you pick the second option, you MUST submit the form as well as the
payment by *Wednesday, September 25, 11:59PM*. If you have not paid by that
time, your order *will not be placed*. To pay, you have four options:
- bring cash or check (made out to "Helen Chao") to weekday lessons or
weekend practices.
- PayPal me at h <tetyana_dol at hotmail.com>elenrchao at yahoo.com, but make
sure to send the payment as a *PERSONAL GIFT*. Otherwise PayPal keeps a
portion of the money, and that's not cool.
- Venmo me using helenrchao at yahoo.com.
