Hello dancers!

We're moving on to more dances! Here is the schedule for the week:
--Monday, 10/1--
5:00-5:30  Warm-up
5:30-6:15  Silver Latin (Professional Lesson) - *tryout required*
6:15-7:00  Bronze Latin (Professional Lesson) - *tryout required*
7:00-7:30  Newcomer Latin (Professional Lesson)
7:30-8:15  Beginner 2 - International Rumba**
8:15-9:00  Beginner 1 - International Tango
9:00-9:45  Intermediate - Jive
9:45-11:00 Open Floor

--Wednesday, 10/3--
5:00-5:30  Warm-up
5:30-6:15  Silver Standard (Professional Lesson) -* tryout required*
6:15-7:00  Bronze Standard (Professional Lesson) -* tryout required*
7:00-7:30  Newcomer Standard (Professional Lesson)
7:30-8:15  Beginner 2 - American Waltz**
8:15-9:00  Beginner 1 - American Cha-Cha
9:00-9:45  Intermediate - East Coast Swing
9:45-11:00 Open Floor

**For those who purchased the beginner lesson package and attended the last
2 weeks of Beginner 1 for International Rumba and/or American Waltz, you
can now take the Beginner 2 lessons in those dances. In the 7:30 Beginner 2
lessons, we will be teaching more moves and going into more depth about the
feel and technique of the dances. You are encouraged to attend, as these
lessons are included in your membership package!

Also, *SALSA LESSONS* begin this week (for real this time). They will be
held on Tuesdays from 6:30-8pm in the Morewood Multipurpose Room. Salsa
lessons are $5 per class and are not included in your club membership. The
building requires a CMU ID to enter, so if you are not a CMU student,
please talk to anyone sitting at the tables in Rangos on Monday or send us
an email and we will make sure someone can let you in.

For those of you that took the Rumba lessons, do you recognize any of the
steps you learned? To these pros, the routine is "basic", but it shows how
much feeling and technique you can put  into these fundamental steps.
