Sorry, everyone, I made a few errors in the previous e-mail.
Salsa lessons will begin NEXT week, Thursday September 27. Not this week.
And the Ovarian Cancer Day of Silence flash mob will be on September 22 (not 21 as I previously said), Saturday.

Hello, dancers!
 
There are many exciting things happening in the CMU dance community this
week, so please bear with this long e-mail!
 
*LESSONS*
First of all, our lessons continue Wednesday evening, with Beginner 2
American Viennese Waltz, Beginner 1 American Waltz, and Intermediate
American Foxtrot. While the names may be similar, the dances are different
from those we taught on Monday, so we hope to see you out on the dance
floor again!
 
*SALSA LESSONS*
We are once again offering Salsa lessons! They will be on Thursdays from
5PM to 6:30PM, in the Morewood Multipurpose Room (located in the Morewood
Gardens dormitory on the corner of Forbes and Morewood). Whether you have
never danced salsa before, or are a pro, there will be plenty for you to
learn. Just $5 for 1.5 hours, and the cost is not included in your CMUBDC
membership.
 
*DISCO FRIDAY*
On Friday evening, 9PM - 12AM, we will be hosting a Late Night event
called Disco Friday! Come to the UC Black Chairs (on the first floor of
the University Center) for a groovy performance, hustle lesson, and ice
cream! All free :) Join our Facebook event, too!

*FLASH MOBS*
And sequentially last, but definitely not least - there are 3, yes, THREE,
flash mobs happening in the Pittsburgh area in the next few weeks. Two of
them are this weekend! For more information on each, see the attached
documents.
1) USA Dance Flash Mob - Friday, September 21, 5:45 - 6:15 PM at Market
Square.
2) Ovarian Cancer Day of Silence Flash Mob - Saturday, September 21, 6:00
PM (be there at 5:30) at the Station Square fountain.
3) CMU Dance Marathon Flash Mob - Thursday, October 4, details TBA.
