Hello dancers!
Among the absolute necessities of being a good dancer are *shoes*.
In fact, it's very amusing how much people improve when they put on actual
dancing shoes instead of sneakers and prom shoes.
We recommend buying two pairs; one for latin and one for standard/modern.
Please refer to
http://cmubdc.org/tips_advice.php#shoes for more information. At $30 per
pair, that's not bad at all.
We will be holding shoes sales on Monday 2/7 during lessons. Come to tryout
what your shoe size is, buy shoes, and if your size is not in stock, visit
www.wujiedanceshoes.com and fill out the following form by WEDNESDAY
(February 9th) at 10 PM.

P.S. I see that a lot of you have bought DSOL shoes (from
danceshoesonline.com). I know their website seems prettier and more
American, but their shoes are actually also made in China, and, for latin
shoes at least, *are absolute crap*. Trust me, I bought their shoes, I would
know. WoJewel shoes may not be as high quality as European brands like
Supadance or International, but with them I have a lot more control and
balance, and they grip the floor as Latin shoes should. If you are
interested in long term investment and are willing to spend more money, talk
to any of the officers and we can get you started. Get shoes you can dance
in! :)
