Ballroom meeting tomorrow!

Hi dancers,

I started doing ballroom competitions the first semester I began
dancing. I wasn't all that good, but I learned a lot, got to see
awesome dancers, and became much more motivated. I'm still competing
(and doing better :) ), and I think it's _very_ worthwhile. It's easy
to try out a competition in the Newcomer division (dancing <6 or <12
months), and I strongly encourage everyone to give it a thought.

We're having a meeting tomorrow (Monday 2/11) at 8:30pm outside the
Activities Room (2nd floor UC) to discuss competitions. We'll give you
an idea of what is involved, talk about the comps this semester, and
help people find partners for practicing/competing.

If you can't make it but are interested, check out the Competing page on
our website (www.cmubdc.org), or email ballroom at andrew.cmu.edu about it.

Also, remember we have a dance coming up on Friday, February 22 at
8:30pm in Rangos! It'll be free for all club members & CMU-affiliated
people, and we'll have a lesson, DJ, and lots of dancing!

Hopefully see you tomorrow!
