Jim,
For Alice 3, if it is a Scene method, unfortunately not. However, if the method belongs to a Gallery class, you may export the class, and import the class into a new project. See the following link:

For Alice 2, you are not able to export world methods. But if the method belongs to an object in the world, right-click on the object, select Save object from the menu. You will then be able to import the object with the method into a new project.
