alice-teacher Can a project modified in NetBeans be re-opened by Alice 3.4?

Hi

My students created a collision detection event but it only works if the object is moving forward towards the obstacle. It seems that the collision is not detected when the object is moving backwards through the same obstacle. Is there a way to detect collision if the object is approaching the obstacle from any angle?

Kind Regards

Mourad

April,
If you select the helicopter's blades from the subpart menu, by adjusting the number of times the blade turns and adjust the duration detail, you will be able to set different speeds for the helicopter blade.

See attached screen shot...

Let us know if you have another questions...

Carlos,
It is not possible to being a NetBeans version of an Alice 3 project back into Alice. Alice supports only a subset of the Java Class Library, and would be unable to interpret and create appropriate tiles for code that was outside of that subset.
