alice-teacher mp3 files

Has anyone had issues with MP3 files playing in scenes in Alice 3? I had an
interesting situation where one student created a boat race and inserted
the MP3 audio of the music from "Rocky" and it played fine. He then tried
the same music in another scene with two characters in a room and the music
wouldn't play. I thought it was the music file, but why does it play in one
scene and not another?
