Thank you for your interest an support of Alice. These re very interesting ideas and I will bring them to the attention of the rest of the team.

For number 2, in Alice 3, it is now possible to import and export classes that contain procedures and functions for that class.

See the following links on You Tube:

	Basic Import / Export: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FXhZZMZawis&feature=youtu.be
	Export Classes Alice 3.1: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LaNqDdHmvho&feature=youtu.be
	Importing a Class in Alice 3.1: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0XprEvcqjgY&feature=youtu.be

Yes, there are some concerns about student copying code, but as Alice 3 is designed to transition to Java, understanding and being able to work with inheritance is an important concept, and we feel that the import / export feature is important in that understanding.

All the best,
Don Slater

I have learned this at least by my experiment: that if one advances confidently in the direction of his dreams, and endeavors to live the life he has imagined, he will meet with a success unexpected in common hours.

This can be a way to review dialog between characters It can help in debugging an Alice world with many characters interactions.
> 2) a way to share procedures / functions. Here you divide a big project up and have students work on individual characters. They can test out their small part w/o having to worry about running out of memory. Once they are happy w their characters and procedures, you can export or copy or move it to the big Alice world.
> 3) a way to manage the memory demands? Maybe an equivalent to Java "import" or c++ "#include". I know this is a lot harder than item 2 which is a lot harder than item 1 above.
