For scene changes I put a black circle in front of the camera and set the vehicle of the circle to the camera. Set the opacity of the circle to 0 (invisible). In the code where you want it to fade to black bring in the circles opacity to 100 (opaque). Move your camera to new location and bring the circles opacity back to 0. This causes a nice fade in and out. You can also chose "is showing" true and false instead but it is a little choppier. I also rename the circle "lens cap".
