alice-teacher Does Alice3 have an equivalent to ....

I find the Java "System.out.println()" helpful for tracing values of
variables and which Methods (ie Alice Procedures) are we at.

The Alice command "say" is a partial answer but I would like to be able to
have each characters conversation go to a window or something where it
doesn't disappears after a duration.

I'm sure the Alice3 developers have a debugging window where outputs like
System.out.println(" x = " + x) can be sent to.
