Question about using NetBeans with Alice 3.1. It seems that when you open an Alice project in Alice it looks for the Alice gallery on the C: drive. I am able to point it to the network drive where the library is located, however, I have to do this each time since it doesn't save the pointer. Does anyone know how to fix this issue?

Thanks, Jennifer McLean

If you are talking about the questions at the end of each chapter, then the answers ar listed at the bottom of the page at he end of them.

Formthenprogramming assignment I do not know of any published answers. They were easy enough for all my students to complete with little assistance.

Hi,

I am going to be using the book for the 2nd half of the year. I was looking for answer keys to the questions and exercises. Do you know where I might be able to get them?

Thanks, Jennifer McLean

Hello:
i have been teaching a high school Intro to CS course using the "Learning Java Through Alice 3" text. It is now the end of semester one. We have completed the book and it is time for the final/midterm exam. Does anyone have a midterm exam I can use as a starting point for my class?

We have covered:
   - parts and history of computing
   - variables
   - input output
   - procedural and functional methods
   - conditionals
   - graphics gui programming
   - for and while loops
   - arrays

Thank you.
