alice-teacher Problems with Alice 3 Crashing

Some of my students have been having problems with Alice 3 crashing. In
some cases, restarting the program or computer resolves it, but in other
cases their file seems to have permanent issues

Are there any good techniques to try to resolve these reoccurring crashes
of a particular file?
