Note:

If you are getting this error,

Error during simulation.
    javax.media.j3d.CapabilityNotSetException: Appearance: no capability to set transparencyAttributes ...

or having problem playing sound in Alice, then you need to download this new Alice jar file 
https://www.dropbox.com/s/fuezefrtv7rgegr/alice.jar. 

Download and replace the old ...\Alice 2.4\Required\lib\alice.jar with this new file.



If you are getting this warning,
Exception in thread "AWT-EventQueue-0" java.lang.ClassCastException
    at javax.swing.LayoutComparator.compare(LayoutComparator.java:61) ...

You can ignore the message and continue. This is just to notify you that Alice is having problems with the screen layout.


Please make sure you have the latest release as we have fixed a lot of bugs in this new release. Please check the date of the file to make sure you have the latest file.
