alice-teacher int as string?

It seems that the World function "int (what) as string" disappeared 
in the Alice 2.2 03/01/2012 Windows release.  Can anyone offhand 
confirm that, and whether it's back in the 2.3 release?  Or have way 
of using "(what) as string" that doesn't show decimal 
points?  Unfortunately I'm stuck with that version for the school 
year because I had to freeze my image in June.
