alice-teacher billboard in 2.3

Yes, I have tested this on both the Windows (7) and Mac version of Alice 2.3. Find the image file on your OS, your desktop for example, and click and drag it into the scene…

Of course, you can always import a 2D image into Alice 2.3 from the Alice File Menu -> Make billboard, and then use the dialog box to navigate through your file system to find the image (jpg, gif, (not animated gifs), png, tiff, bmp) you wish to import into your Alice project.
