alice-teacher Error: Application has failed to start

Which version are you trying to install? Have you seen the instructions for installing Alice in a networked environment? See "Using Alice on a Networked Machine"

Also, try to install Alice on a flash drive and see if one of your machines can execute Alice from the flash.
