I always warn my students that surfing the web for free .wav files
(actually free anything) is a good way to pick up a virus, so I
encourage them to use our campus computers that are well-protected and
automatically refreshed with every boot. Also, my students are
college-age so I don't have to worry about any movie clips that have
foul language. With that said, I point my students to the following web
sites:
