It is our great pleasure to invite you to the 2011 Alice Workshop at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi and to Corpus Christi, TX.



The workshop will involve 5 days of training in the use of the Alice environment interspersed with discussions of pedagogy issues related to using Alice in the classroom. This year's workshop will also include training in using Alice to program the Legos® Mindstorm robots.

This workshop will train educators in effectively using the Alice programming environment at the secondary and post-secondary education levels. The basic Alice portion of the workshop will be conducted by Phyllis Tedford, Instructor of Computer Science at Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi. The robot portion of the workshop will be conducted by Dr. Monica Anderson, Assistant Professor of Computer Science at The University of Alabama.



The cost of the workshop will be $135. This includes all workshop materials, lunches, and refreshments during breaks. Participants who successfully complete the workshop will earn 29.5 CPE credits.
