Does anyone know how easy it would be to get this translated into
English? What is the best software to use?

Hello -
I am starting teaching a high school graphic computer programming class
in the fall. I am currently using Virtual World Design and Creation for
Teens by C. Hardnett. Although it is helping me get the very basic gist
of the program, I would like to better understand why the commands
chosen work, and why there are methods, variables, worlds, etc. Does
anyone have a particular resource that he/she likes for both an
introduction to programming and to using Alice? Also, if you have any
sample syllabi that you'd be willing to share, I would love to see them.
It is up to me to design the course, and I am currently thinking that I
will either do one full year of Alice or one semester of Alice and one
semester of Java.

Thoughts?
Thank you,
Emily Higgins

If you copy the text into Google translator, you can probably get most
of it translated so that you can understand the document and then make
some minor edits!

I took a couple of minutes and saved Douglas' document and then copied
