There is a conference for Computer Science Educators in Dallas next March 9 - 12. Although most of the sessions are focused more on higher education, there are sessions for K-12 instructors as well, with most of them scheduled for Friday of that week. Here is the link for more information regarding this conference:

The Alice team will be presenting two day-long workshops on Wednesday, March 9. One workshop wil be focused on Alice 2.2, led by Dr. Steve Cooper from Stanford University, and one for Alice 3, led by Dr. Wanda Dann, from Carnegie Mellon University.

Reply to me on my individual email (dslater at cmu.edu) if you have any questions.

All the best,
Don Slater

For example, the Mad Scientist exercise in the textbook. When the user clicks on an item (eg., the blender) and then clicks another item (eg., the cup) before the blender animation finishes, the cup animation starts immediately while the blender is still animated. Is there a way to queue up the subsequent event triggers so that the cup in the above example doesn't start until the blender finishes even if the cup is clicked before the blender finishes?
