alice-teacher Computer overheating w/Alice?!

I have a student who says that he installed Alice on his computer at home,
but every time he opens Alice, it runs for a few minutes and then the
computer overheats.  I'm skeptical, but I'm wondering whether anyone has
experienced (or heard of) such a phenomenon.
