Go to amazon and buy a used copy of Learning to Program with Alice, second Edition. The CD included is just the program, no tutorials or teaching materials. So if you have Alice and don't need the program, don't worry about the CD. This book is an awesome resource. All of my page references in my worksheets refer to this book.

I can burn a dvd with video references and send it out if anyone sends me their mailing address............. This is my first time teaching Alice, and threw a beginning unit together.....

Jim - Would you mind also e-mailing me one of your students projects using a skill builder with a duck and bunny? I am going to introduce Storytelling Alice to my 6th graders next year and would love any help I can get!

Go on youtube and search Alice. I have downloaded several tutorials for class skill work. However, many examples on youtube are gun based games that I can not use......

Check out the Tom Jones video made in Alice........

I can email you one of our student projects using a skill builder with a duck and bunny.

My administration wants to encourage more students to study computer science, and I'm going to suggest that we use Alice, probably as part of a summer camp for middle school students. Is there a place where I can find examples of projects that students have created to show my administrators?

Many thanks!
Julie
