Dear Colleagues,
Please share widely with anyone you think may be interested.
I am writing to share that Northwestern University’s Disability and
Employment Research Fellowship has openings. The goal of the fellowship is
to develop and train a cadre of researchers capable of leading high-quality
studies that will enhance employment opportunities for persons with
disabilities.
The two-year health services research training program provides PhDs and
MDs with:
- Mentoring, protected research time, annual stipend, and benefits
- Tuition for course work, original research, grant writing, and
scientific publishing
- Professional development opportunities, including funds for conference
travel
This project utilizes the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab (formerly the
Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago) as its clinical site. The AbilityLab
has been named 31 consecutive years as the outstanding rehabilitation
hospital in the country. It sponsors the largest education and training
center of any rehabilitation facility in the nation.
The Fellowship
