[6555-penn] BBQ leftovers....and thanks!

Penn Ave folks:  PLENTY of leftovers in the frig and on the kitchen counter
for lunches and snacks this week! (burgers and hot dogs in Ziploc baggies in
the frig, BBQ chicken in the foil pan in the frig, fruit, pasta salad, and
other side dishes in the frig, lots of cookies, brownies, cakes and pies,
and hotdog/burger buns on the counter)  Help yourselves!

Thanks to everyone who contributed to the wonderful variety of food today!
Special thanks to the on-campus folks for taking time to come out to
participate and for bringing your food/drink contributions.  It was great
seeing you all here!

Finally, a great big thanks to Dan, RJ, and Ryan for cooking the meat and
fries!  As always, the food was enjoyed by all.

Hope everyone had a good time.  It was great being able to sit outside and
enjoy the summer sunshine.  We'll do this again in a few months - probably
early/mid Fall.

Good morning!

Just one final reminder about tomorrow's BBQ at Penn Ave.

We are expecting 40-45 people to attend! J  (to estimate when buying
burgers, hot dogs, buns, drinks, etc)

Weather forecast:  85 and sunny!  Bring a lawn/camp chair to sit outside and
enjoy the weather! (only about 12-15 people will be able to fit in the conf
room to eat)
The grill will be delivered to Penn Ave by 9:30am, grilling should begin
around 10:30am, food should be ready to eat by 11:30am
Thanks to everyone bringing food/drinks to contribute!

Subject: Penn Ave BBQ next Tuesday - eating outside!

FYI:  The weather is looking WONDERFUL for next week!  Unless things change
drastically with the weather forecast, it 'should' be hot and sunny on
Tuesday.  With the large number of people attending the BBQ (roughly 35-40
people), there won't be enough room for everyone to sit in the conference
rooms to eat, so anyone wishing to eat outside should bring their own chair
(folding camp chair, lawn chair, etc) and eat outside while enjoying the
summer weather!

On campus folks:  You can plan to arrive between 11-11:30am, as we are
planning for the food to be ready to eat at 11:30am, and want to be sure all
of the food, drinks, etc are all out for everyone to enjoy at 11:30am.
