This is a summary of the report from Campus Police who responded to an
employee being assaulted on Penn Avenue on Friday, May 25, 2007.

I (Campus Police Officer) was dispatched to 6555 Penn Ave for a report of a
CMU Employee that was mugged on the way to work.  While enroute, a Zone 5
plainclothes unit and City Unit 3501 stated they had (2) suspects stopped at
S. Highland near the Presbyterian Church who matched the description.  The
City of Pittsburgh Police had already met with (the victim) and the
description of the actors was broadcast over the City Radio.

When I arrived at 6555 Penn Ave,. I was told by co-workers that (the victim)
had a cut above his eye and they didn't believe anything was taken.

When (the victim) and the City officer returned, I was informed that the 2
suspects were in custody and taken to Zone 5 by the City Detective.  They
were described as 2 B/Ms approximately, 15 years old.
