About Assist-group
English (USA)

Welcome to the assist group. Here are some things you may want to sign up for/request access to. is the group that administers our technical resources.

1. The Wiki:
This is a general place to store knowledge about anything that multiple people might need to know. For example, stuff about projects you're collaborating on, ideas that someone else might be interested in, logistical details about servers or whatever. If you don't have an account, register, and then let me or Christian ( know so we can set all the right permissions for you. (we are the admins of this server currently)

This is mostly private to our labs and the ubicomp group lab.

2. The Q&A site:
Ask and answer questions, sorta-Stack-Exchange style. Whatever you need help with, hopefully someone can help.

This is public to the whole internet. You can just create an account here.

3. Our server overall is Kettle: You can ssh or sftp or whatever into it. It has some space but not a ton, so don't store a lot of data (like gigabytes) here.
Ask my permission (jen's) if you want to be on kettle.
