The third International Workshop on Big Data Processing Systems (BDPS 2021) serves as a forum for scientists and engineers in both academia and industry to discuss their latest work, findings and experiences on major and emerging topics on Big Data processing. A special emphasis this year will be on hardware accelerators (e.g., FPGA, GPU, RDMA etc) and decentralized infrastructures (Fog, disaggregated resources, etc) to facilitate the execution of traditional and emerging Big Data applications.</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">TOPICS OF INTEREST:</div><div class="">---------------------------------</div><div class="">Topics of interest of the BDPS 2021 include, but are not limited to:</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">Models and techniques for Big Data processing</div><div class="">New storage devices for Big Data processing</div><div class="">Scalable Big Data processing in the Fog</div><div class="">Energy-efficient and energy-proportional data processing</div><div class="">Scalable data management for Big Data processing</div><div class="">Adoption of hardware accelerators to Big Data processing systems</div><div class="">Techniques for data integrity and availability in Big Data processing systems</div><div class="">Geo-distributed Big Data analytics</div><div class="">Scheduling and provisioning data analytics on hybrid Cloud and fog infrastructures</div><div class="">Machine learning techniques for data-intensive applications</div><div class="">Graph Processing</div><div class="">Stream data processing</div><div class="">In-memory data processing</div><div class="">Fault management and reliability</div><div class="">Security, privacy and trust for Big Data processing</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">WORKSHOP CHAIRS:</div><div class="">-------------------------------</div><div class="">Chunming Hu, Beihang University, China</div><div class="">Shadi Ibrahim, Inria, France</div><div class="">Hanhua Chen, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, China</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">PROGRAM COMMITTEE:</div><div class="">-----------------------------------</div><div class="">Jalil Boukhobza, University of Western Brittany, France</div><div class="">Suren Byna, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, USA</div><div class="">Amelie Chi Zhou, ShenZhen university, China</div><div class="">Giuseppe Di Modica, University of Bologna, Italy</div><div class="">Matthieu Dorier, Argonne National Lab, USA</div><div class="">Deke Guo, National University of Defense Technology, China</div><div class="">Ligang He, University of Warwick UK</div><div class="">Qiang He, Swinburne University of Technology, Australia</div><div class="">Yu Hua, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, China</div><div class="">Thomas Lambert, Inria, France</div><div class="">Zhenhua Li, Tsinghua University, China</div><div class="">Dana Petcu, University West Timisoara, Romania</div><div class="">Anna Queralt, Barcelona Supercomputing Center, Spain</div><div class="">Kento Sato, RIKEN R-CCS, Japan</div><div class="">Chen Tian, Nanjing University, China</div><div class="">Yongxin Tong, Beihang University, China</div><div class="">Hongzhi Wang, Harbin Institute of Technology, China</div><div class="">Wenyao Xu, State University of New York (SUNY) at Buffalo, USA</div><div class="">Orcun Yildiz, Argonne National Lab, USA</div><div class="">Jianhui Yue, Michigan Technological University, USA</div><div class="">Meihui Zhang, Beijing Institute of Technology, China</div><div class="">Yongluan Zhou, University of Copenhagen, Denmark</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">PAPER SUBMISSION:</div><div class="">-------------------------------</div><div class="">All papers need to be submitted electronically through EasyChair with PDF format through the following link: <a href="https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=bdps2021" class="">https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=bdps2021</a>.</div><div class="">Papers must be no more than 6 pages (and up to 2 over length pages may be purchased for the final camera-ready version) in the IEEE 8.5" x 11" two-column format with 10-point font, including tables, figures and references.
