I had checked Orchesography...that was what I meant when I said "was
suprised when I went back to Arbeau and found nothing to hint that there
should be any change..." I also realize that the dancing is quicker... It
was actually one of the musicians that came to me with that querry (as she
had also assured me it was often played faster...)

More importantly, thanks for helping a sleep deprived person see (what
should have been obvious.) The one recording I was thinking of (I just
confirmed) was actually faster so I`m not totally lost.

The confirmation that it should not be faster is appreciated...
