Mynydd Seren's bid to host the next Known World Dance Symposium in July 2011 has received the approval of the Middle Kingdom curia.  We still need to get corporate-level approval to be official, but at least one hurdle has been cleared.

We have a block of hotel rooms available on site for $119 - $149 for up to 4 people.  This is obviously the most convenient option, but not cheap.  We have looked into the option of also getting dorm rooms on campus.  As of right now, a dorm room would cost $48 per person per night, which would be cheaper for an individual, but not for a group who could share a room.  We don't know which dorms would be available next summer. It could be up to a mile away.  Should we arrange for a block of dorm rooms?  If so, how many?  If you would want to stay in a dorm room for KWDS, please let me know off-list, so we can have some idea what to plan for.  (Yes, there are cheaper hotels in the area, but they are not close, and there is also the possibility of crashing in people's homes.)
