[SCA-Dance] Not a Known World Dance Seminar?

Hi all,
I'm poking my nose in for the first time in a number of years... (I'll
probably regret it later).
Surely the proper way for this to be handled, if SCA Inc does indeed
have control of the "Known World" name, would be for them to delegate
the bid approval process to a sub-committee-type-body composed of people
who have an interest in organising, running and attending the event,
with a pro forma presence from some higher authority for liaison
purposes. It might be necessary to formally create a sub-committee of
some sort for this purpose, if one doesn't already exist. Either a
mundane sub-committee, or a group composed of the recipients of some
order or other - you're creative people, I'm sure you could think of
something suitable.
Personally, even though I've never attended one, I think it would be
very sad to lose the KWDS name.
(goes back to lurking)
