Just in case any of you are those last-minute spontaneous decision-makers
who have been waffling for months over whether or not to travel to An Tir
(Seattle) for KWDS 2007, now is the time to decide!

The event starts a week from today!

Trahaearn is finishing the proceedings right now: LOTS of great articles -
evidence of great classes to come!
The musicians have the set lists for all three balls, and are rehearsing
this weekend. The Friday night ball features several dances taught on
Friday, plus some old chestnuts (though not, in fact, Chestnut....)
Saturday is jam packed with dances that were taught in all the different
class sessions on Saturday and at the Day of Dance event. Sunday wraps up
with a Caroso Ball.
We have dancers coming from 13 different kingdoms.
We have 29 classes (plus the Day of Dance tracks), covering all the major
genres. Classes range from the practical to the theoretical, from the
introductory overview of dance sources to 2 hour intensives for advanced
dancers.
A special treat at Saturday night's dance will be a performance by Seattle
Early Dance, led by Anna Mansbridge. This is a professional performance
troupe - sharing some of the dances they performed to an audience of over
2000 at Benaroya Hall, home of the Seattle Symphony.

Current weather forecasts say it will be a pleasant 70 degrees over the
weekend.
