<p class="MsoNormal">The Barony of Blackstone Mountain and the Shire of Port
Oasis have joined forces to create a new event, and cordially invite the good
gentles from the Debatable Lands to attend our joint venture, <i>Under the Grenewode</i>. This is entirely
themed as a “peasant” event, which will take place this August 25-27.<span> </span><span> </span>As
this is a new event we thought it proper to extend personal invitations to our
neighboring groups, and hope you will join us in our revels this summer. <br></p><p class="MsoNormal"><br></p>

folk from the southern wilderness invite all to join them in a festival of
peasant delights. The nobles are long in returning from the Great Pennsic War,
and whilst they are away the peasants will play! Without the nobles to keep
them in check, the villagers have escaped the summer heat under the leaves of
the Grenewode.<span> </span>D’off your titles,
circlets, belts, and finery, all the better to join in our peasant revels. For
them what like to bash the others there is a fine bear-baiting for heavy
fighters. News of foxes stealing the hens means a merry chase across the
meadow; and a contest to tell the Tallest Tale will happen ‘round the fire
circle. Games of skill and hazard for all. The Fae Folk may misdirect you on
the way to your destination, and the stream will cool your weary feet.<span> </span>Tokens will be earned for participation; and
the one with the most points will “crowned” Peasant King/Queen at the feast.</p>
