The theme for the A&S competition at Summers End this year is "What I did on my Pennsic Vacation". All entries must be a project made at or learned in a class taken at Pennsic 44. In consideration of the 1,500+ classes offered at Pennsic we will allow up to 2 separate entries per person. No formal documentation is required, however the entry must include the name of the class and the instructor. Handouts from the class may be displayed with your entry. Scoring will be a populace bean count. All entries must be submitted to the A&S table by 11 a.m.Bean votes may be cast from 11.15a.m until 1 hour before court.<br>

For those more Bardically inclined we will also have a song contest. We are looking for songs that are easily learned and remembered. Songs that extol the greatness and virtue of AEthelmearc and of the Society. Songs must be in the format and tune of one of the following...<br>

The 12 days of Christmas (any version). Entrants are encouraged to bring a few copies of their song so their solo performance might be followed by a sing along. A panel of 3 judges will confer to determine a winner based on faithfulness to the format requirement, humor and audience response. Please register at the A&S table during the day, performances will be approximately 2 hours before court at the A&S area. More specific time tables will be posted in to he event flyer at troll.<br>
