Greetings to those interested in heavy weapons fighting in the Society for Creative Anachronism.

We will be hosting a Fighting Schola at Carnegie Mellon, this Wednesday, 6:30-8:30. I would like to invite anyone
interested in learning more about the basics of fighting to join us
(students will have priority in borrowing loaner armor). Much of the
class will be unarmored, so feel free to come to learn more, even if you
are hesitant to hop into armor. Experienced fighters, I would like to
invite you to join us to teach and spar with newcomers (bring armor, and
extra weapons).

This week, our King, Sir Isenwulf, will be teaching basics of attack and defense. Not only is His Majesty an excellent fighter (he won the crown tournament to become king), he is also an excellent teacher. I'm looking forward to learning more from him, and I hope you can join us!
