See it done? OK, just eat some<BR>> really good food? Here is your chance.<BR>> <BR>> The event stewards, Katla Ulfhedinn (katla@zoominternet.net) & Yvianne de <BR>> Castel d'Avignon (yvianne@zoominternet.net) invite you to join us as we <BR>> spend the weekend of September 2-4 creating a Fireside Feast at Breakneck <BR>> Campground (1757<BR>> Cheeseman Road, Portersville, PA. 16051)<BR>> <BR>> Saturday will be filled with the opportunity to take open air cooking<BR>> classes. Any who wish to join us for the evening meal may bring supplies and<BR>> prepare your own gastronomical delight over an open fire ... or bring a<BR>> prepared dish from home. **Modern fare as well as period food is welcome.**<BR>> <BR>> Fire pits and wood will be provided for those cooking on site. Limited<BR>> ironware and spits will be available by prior arrangement - please contact<BR>> Katla or Yvianne to inquire or reserve.<BR>> <BR>> Our marshal has informed us that due to the time of year and site's close<BR>> proximity to Pennsic, we may want to fortify our defenses. Therefore, he<BR>> welcomes any with armor and weapons to join him on the list field.<BR>> <BR>> Saturday's evening meal will be served buffet style. There is no feast hall<BR>> on site, so bring your own table & chairs or eat picnic style. The Shire<BR>> will provide hearty meat dishes. All other offerings will be provided by<BR>> attendees.<BR>> <BR>> Site opens Friday afternoon at 2 pm and closes Sunday at 2pm, it is a damp<BR>> site - no glass containers please.
