<DIV><FONT face=Arial>Once again does our beloved Canton of Steltonwald show the
Known World how best to put on a major event. War Practice was a terrific
success, thanks to the hard effort of the populace of this Barony. Our
hearts were particuarly moved by the success of thrown weapons and youth
fighting, as these programs have risen so dramatically while we have sat the
Baronial thrones. The list of classes seems to grow each year, and the
quality of the teachers even more so. We know that there are gentles
who learn more from classes at Aethelmearc War Practice than at the Pennsic War
itself.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial>Ysabell is to be congratulated for doing such an excellent
job. If we were to try to personally thank all the gentles who helped her,
we would be unable to even approach a complete list. So many of our
Baronial members were involved, it defies enumeration. But our personal
thanks do go to our retainers and those who assisted us with our thrones and
tents on such short notice; you kept us sane on a busy weekend.</FONT></DIV>
