Greetings from the Pittsburgh Chapter of the American Harp Society! Please disseminate the </FONT><FONT face="Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif">following to interested members of your group:</FONT><BR><BR><FONT face="Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif">The Pittsburgh Chapter of the American Harp Society welcomes Nancy </FONT><FONT face="Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif">Hurrell on Saturday, May 1, 2010. Please join us for the Harp Tapestry </FONT><FONT face="Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif">Concert and Workshops!</FONT><BR><BR><FONT face="Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif">Nancy is a noted harp historian and consultant for the Boston Museum of </FONT><FONT face="Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif">Fine Arts. Our day will begin with a lecture on the History of the </FONT><FONT face="Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif">Harp, followed by a Renaissance Dance Workshop in which we will not only </FONT><FONT face="Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif">learn the music but also learn to dance the steps! While bringing a </FONT><FONT face="Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif">harp to the workshop is recommended, it is not required.</FONT><BR><FONT face="Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif">The day will end with a concert of music from six centuries, played on </FONT><FONT face="Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif">six historic harps, with a reception to follow.</FONT><BR><BR><FONT face="Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif">The event takes place in the Alumni Hall of the Fine Arts Building of </FONT><FONT face="Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif">Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA.
