in a nutshell, no - don't really think it matters. most mundanes, as well as the people who run the zoo, can't differentiate between one person 'dressed in funny clothes' and another. WE know the difference, but to outsiders we all look kind of the same. so i say... wear what you want and be open to talking to people. that's all we really need. our purpose there is to attract people to the sca (lets be honest, new blood would be a good thing) and personally i'd rather attract people who were into things other than fairy wings ;)
Hi Rufina,

The Zoo seems to be advertising the happening with a Renaissance. Should people show up in late period type garb and restrict their activities to the same?

Raven
who can do that despite all the Viking stuff
