<DIV>Last night at BMDL meeting Raven mentioned a rattan-looking weapon on the side of Negley Ave. Christopher and I live by there and scooped it up on the way home. </DIV>

<DIV>It is in fact some kind of broken spear-looking thing (or perhaps a butt spike?) but is not rattan. It is a thin-walled plastic tube with duct tape on it and a thrusting tip that I suspect began life as a pool noodle. Lots of duct tape throughout and a star-shape crisscross to denote the thrusting tip.</DIV>

<DIV>We suspect that it may be a broken LARP weapon or possibly some broken bit of youth weapon. Either way, we think it is likely trash. </DIV>
