Report of the Court of Their Excellencies Brandubh et Hilderun, Baron et
Baroness of the Barony-Marche of the Debatable Lands held at the Fiftieth
Pennsic War, Middle Sunday August 6 anno societatis 58, Lord Ronan
O’Conaill, Comet Pursuivant.

Their Excellencies greeted all in attendance and welcomed them to the
Baronial Social.  They reminded all present of the tournaments to cheer on
our champions,and other happenings about the War.



Their Excellencies' Estimable Embroiderers, the Coven of the Cloaked Comet
were invited into court, and they presented the first of the new Baronial
Cloaks which Their Excellencies had commissioned much to the delight of the
populace.  They thanked the members who brought this project to life:
Fruthikone Hrefna inn heppna Thorgrimsdottir, THLady Gesa von Wellenstein,
Lady Elinor Walden, Kit of the Middle, Lady Forveleth Dunde, Mistress
Ts’vee’a bas Tseepora Levi, and THLady Ceindrech verch Elidir presented
each of the stichers and embroiderers with Silk bags featuring the test
patterns for the cloak embroidery by Hrefna inn heppna, and presented
Ts’vee’a with a Pomegranate ring for her efforts in designing the cloaks.



Their Excellencies bid Fruthikona Hrefna inn heppna Thorgrimsdottir to stay
a moment longer.  Hrefna had been in the Baronial Cloak Project since its
very inception.  Spending hundreds of hours managing the project,
recruiting talented embroiderers, teaching techniques, and designing the
layout.  Their Excellencies were moved to award her a gold and silver comet
combined for her monumental service and art that had gone into this gift

Jay of the Middle was called forward and presented with his Comettus Amicus
scroll from his award at Iris Festival.  Scroll by Mistress Shrin of Susa



Their Excellencies presented an Iron Comet Scroll to Lord Patrokles
Athenaios which had been awarded to him At the previous Pennsic War, though
COVID had prevented the scroll from being delivered at that time by THLady
Sumayya al Gaziya.



Sayyid Matthias di Lupo Corsi was called forward and awarded a Comettus
Amicus, though he resides in Heronter, his is of great help to our Pennsic
Camp.  His hospitality, and willingness to help with any task no matter how
great or small, including making Turkish coffee each morning has become a
staple of our camp life.  Scroll by Lord Reinhard Regenbogen, with

Baron Edward Harbinger was awarded an Iron Comet for his skills in archery.
He had won the honor of being our stellar champion, and stood in from time
to time to compete when our Archery Champion was unavailable.  Scroll by

Baroness Anastasie delamour was awarded an Iron Comet for her skills in
archery and thrown weapons, serving until very recently as our Archery

Lord Alessandro Devereaux was awarded an Iron Comet for his skills as a
fencer, teaching alternate fecnign styles such as kendo, and serving as a
marshal at fencing practices.  Scroll by THLady Nicola Beese.



Their Excellencies called forth Lady Tristyn of Gryffyn's Keep.  They were
saddened by the dissolution of the Shire of Gryffyn’s Keep, but were
pleased that the Barony was able to claim her zip codes as her skills in
the Thrown Weapons range are very well known, as she has served as Kingdom

THLady Silence de Cherbourg was called forward and awarded a Gold Comet.  She
has served the Barony well in the Office of Chronicler, and is always a
cheerful face in the Baronial Camp at Pennsic assisting the Camp set up and
tear down as well as her neighbors within the camp.  Scroll by THLady

Their Excellencies demanded the presence of THLady Rachel Dalicieux and
proclaimed that she has served for nearly seven years as the Baronial
Signet Officer for the Barony, and now does so for the Kingdom Region 2 as
well.  During that time she has handled almost all of the Baronial scroll
assignments, connecting artists, directing Scribal East, Directing select
pieces for the Debatable Choir, and making many scrolls herself.  For this
They awarded her a Gold Comet.  Scroll by Scribal West.



Their Excellencies then invited THLady Ceindrech verch Elidir to come
forward.  They spoke of special dedication to the Barony, decades of
service through many offices, scribal, autocratting, Choir, embroiderer for
the Baronial Cloak project, hosting Scribal East, and supporting the Barony
through so many more small ways.  For this continuing support of and impact
to the Barony They inducted her into the Order of Copernicus.  Scroll

Their Excellencies thanked all the scribes and regalia makers who had
contributed to this court, reminded everyone to drink more water, and enjoy
the refreshments provided by Lord Nial Mac Raedwulf.
